Part Four: Jane Austen, SchooledIn 1915, The Mentor learning course--with its slogan "Learn One Thing Every Day"--featured Jane Austen in its Famous Women Writers of England number. That number contained (as every issue did) separately printed plates for study and display. Representing Austen was an illustration by Hugh Thomson, with Mr. Darcy and Sir William Lucas. See the front and back covers and both sides of the Thomson Austen plate here.
